Affordable for Family, Excellent Service.

I used a coupon I found during our trip down in a "Indiana-Kentucky Travel Coupons" booklet (only walk-ins, no call aheads) and got a great price, especially considering the indoor pool and free breakfast, compared to what I found online for other places. The service was great as all of the employees were extremely kind to my family and helpful with suggestions for our trip (allowed us to check-in early, let us grab something from the breakfast bar for our trip to Holiday World, warned us of the construction delay on 64). The room seemed clean and included a fridge, microwave and free wifi. The mattresses seemed decent and the pillow options allowed for personal preference. Breakfast was well stocked with eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cinnamon rolls, and various other pastry options. The pool was small, but worked well for our 2 children. Overall, it was a very good stay at a very good price. We will definitely consider returning here the next time we visit Holiday World or anything else in the area.

Comfortable Beds/Great Breakfast Buffet.

My husband and I were walk-ins to find a room for the night. Registering was quick and we had a room on the first floor as requested. The mattresses were comfortable with new bedding. The more up-to-date hotels now have 4 pillows to each bed. The pillowcase states on the trim "soft" or "firm" so you can sleep on whichever pillow fits your comfort level the best. Nice touch. The room itself and the bathroom were very nice and clean. The bath towels were large and plush as well as the washcloths. The breakfast was a buffet with everything from cheese omelet’s, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs to the usual oatmeal and cereal. We had a very pleasant stay at this HI Express.

Best H.I. Express We've Stayed At!

We had a family vacation planned to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari with reservations at Lake Rudolph for Wed. and Thurs. night. Because we weren't sure about weather conditions for our days at Holiday World, we decided to head out and stay near Santa Claus, IN for Tuesday night in order to abbreviate the 5 hour drive from our home straight to Holiday World. After researching online, we settled on the Holiday Inn Express in Corydon, IN, which is about 30 minutes or so away from Santa Claus. I made reservations online for a check-in the same day. We received an excellent rate, as my husband is a police officer. I am from the school of thought "you get what you pay for" so I was a little nervous but figured it was only for a place to sleep. When we arrived, the exterior was clean and landscaped beautifully. My husband and daughter went in to check in while I stayed in the car with our 2 year old. They came out with cookies, 4 bags of microwave popcorn and 4 chilled bottles of water.The room was clean and comfortable, the bath clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was nice and we were able to enjoy it for about 20 minutes before it closed. There is a Super Wal-Mart, Culvers, Cracker Barrel, O'Charley's, and more on the property. We overslept and missed the breakfast, but my husband was able to snag some fruit and muffins for the kids. This is a nice hotel if you want to get a bit closer to Holiday World. I highly recommend it!

Good One-Night Stay Hotel Near I-64.

We walked in without a reservation. Check-in took about 2 minutes. Room was clean, breakfast was free and had a pretty good selection including hot food and excellent coffee.
