This park marks the site of General John Hunt Morgan’s fight against the Harrison County Home Guards during the Civil War. Posey House Museum.

Built in 1817, this Federal style mansion was the home of Colonel Posey, a prominent Corydon merchant and political leader. The house features six rooms furnished with beautiful antiques, including a stunning 1810 rosewood piano, a Civil War drum and rifle, and a kitchen equipped with antique cookware that was original to the home. Kintner-McGrain House at Cedar Glade.

Built in 1808, this former plantation got its name from the giant native red cedars on the property. This historic home was built using handmade brick and features a combination of Late Federal Style and Greek Revival architecture, with a large covered portico, multiple shuttered widows, gables, and three chimneys. Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.

This museum is open for self-guided tours chronicling the history of the manufacturer of Major League Baseball’s official bat. Walk through exhibits featuring information on these handcrafted bats that have been the market standard since 1884, and enjoy a fun tour of the bat factory, play ball in the batting cages, watch films, check out the world's biggest bat, and see Babe Ruth’s famous bat up close. Governor Hendricks Headquarters.

Built in 1817, this Federal style brick house was originally the home of Davis Floyd, Indiana Territory treasurer and auditor and one time Indiana State Legislator. In 1819, the home became Governor Hendricks' family home and headquarters, where the Governor used a lower room for conducting business while he and his family lived in the rest of the house.

Constitution Elm.

Because of its size and the cool shade it offered, this famous tree served as an outdoor office for the delegates who wrote up Indiana’s first constitution. The Constitution Elm died of Dutch elm disease in 1925, but the elm’s trunk is protected by a sandstone memorial located adjacent to the old Harrison County Courthouse.

Leora Brown School.

Built in 1891 as a school for African American children, the Corydon Colored School is the oldest segregated school in Indiana. Corydon Capitol State Historic Site.

Originally built as the courthouse for Harrison County, the Corydon Capitol building was erected on 1814 and was built from local limestone blocks and native walnut logs.
